Tablero
(Tablero
da Gucci)
|
Starting the
Game:
-
Place your board on a flat
surface. Three of the seven glasses are placed on the base line of
the board starting from the right hand corner nearest each player.
The seventh glass is placed in the exact center of the board.

|
-
Find a spectator, preferably
female (or a Queen), and have them throw 2d6. The total of the 2d6 is called the 'Queen's number' and will be important
later. MacThoys generally allow the Q.N. to be rolled again if it is a pass number.
(7, 11 or 12)
Tournament
Rules: One sticks to
what ever Queens Number you roll, even if it is a pass number.
-
Each player fills the three glasses on his or her base line.
Then, each
player rolls one die. The player who rolls the highest number gets to
choose who goes first. Whoever goes first, takes the center glass, places it
one their own base line, fills it, and has control of the dice.
